The last week of April was earnings week, and it showed that 2021 (and a lot of 2020) has generated massive revenue and profits for many of the tech giants. Apple recorded $23.6BN in profit in the last quarter. Linkedin earned $3BN in ad revenue for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021. Facebook, Google, and Amazon all saw recording-breaking revenue growth. With Apple’s latest iOS security update, however, the tech giants are wary that their profits may not last, especially profits based on advertising revenue.

  • This week was also a week to commemorate our furry four-legged friends, or rather the parents of them. For non-developers, trying to figure out how to code those ideas has traditionally taken time. No-code platforms have revolutionized the ability for people outside of IT to prototype, not just applications but workflows as well. Dive deeper.
  • Healthcare was a key buzzword for 2020, a trend it seems will continue into 2021. Review what made 2020 such an important year. Read more.
