Cheezburger Network is a privately-held internet content provider. Users can post videos, blogs and buy merchandise through the site. Cheezburger Network was founded in 2007 and is headquarter in Seattle, Washington. Cheezburger Network is a network of over 50 websites to make its users "happy throughout the day." Its flagship site, I Can Has Cheezburger (ICanHasCheezburger.com) has humorous photos of cats (deemed "lolcats,"), and allows users to use Cheezburger's Lol Builders to create their own humorous photos. Cheezburger Networks, Inc. derives revenues from advertising on its heavily trafficked website, as well as e-commerce revenue from sales of shirts and toys inspired by users favorite photos and "lolz." Cheezburger Network also operates Know Your Meme, an online meme encyclopedia Cheezburger Network acquired from online content network Rocketboom in March 2011. PrivCo sources put the acquisition price as 1.5 million in cash (a spokeswoman for Cheezburger Network declined to confirm or deny the figure.).
