Product Breakdown LIGHT Helmets offers multiple helmet models engineered for different levels of play, all earning five-star safety ratings from Virginia Tech and full NOCSAE certification. Varsity helmets: Apache, Gladiator (including AGTK version), and LS2-crafted with composite or nylon shells, Armor Foam liners, chromoly facemasks, and in some cases 3D-printed impact attenuating TPU geometry. These helmets are up to 40% lighter than traditional models, improving protection and reducing fatigue. Youth and Flag Football headgear: LS2 Youth and SS1 soft headgear, the latter being the first flag-football/soccer headgear to earn a perfect impact score and 100% coverage rating from Virginia Tech labs.
