Finder defined: A Finder is a (usually licensed) broker who seeks out and brings in investors into a private company. In return for his or her services, the Finder receives a “Finder’s Fee”, usually a percentage of the investment he brought in, either in cash or the company’s stock or both, and may also include stock options or warrants in the private company (see definitions of stock options and warrants.)
