Healthline develops a consumer healthcare taxonomy, which provides a suite of intelligent health search, content, and advertising services to a network of publishers, advertisers, destination sites, and health plans. Healthline was founded in 1999 by Dr. James Norman as InterMap Systems, Inc. and changed its name to Healthline Networks in July 2005. In January 2016, Healthline completed its split into two separate companies, Talix and Healthline Media. Healthline is based in San Francisco, California.
