March 30, 2012 3:01pm EST – Facebook shares have officially ended their final secondary auction trading today at noon PST, with a final trading price of $44.10/share and a record $104 Billion valuation.

Today’s auction was the last opportunity for investors to buy pre-IPO shares in Facebook, which represented nearly 60% of all secondary private stock transactions in the past year.

Valuation based on PrivCo calculation of 2.358 billion total Facebook shares outstanding including RSUs and vested stock options and confirmed with the secondary exchanges.

As previously reported by PrivCo, Facebook has permanently halted all further secondary market trades in its still private stock as it prepares to launch its IPO road show in the coming days.
