March 28, 2012: 2:32pm EST – According to several sources close to the company, Facebook’s IPO Roadshow is being prepped to begin imminently, targeting as early as the week of April 30th for kick-off following filing of its first quarter financials with the SEC in an S-1 amendment. The Facebook IPO Road Show video has now been recorded and is to be posted online as early as the Friday before, subject to final SEC review of Facebook's IPO documents.
Secondary Auction Cut Short In Unusual Move
In a highly unusual move, Facebook has abruptly cut short its current secondary auction for Facebook shares. Facebook has moved its current secondary auction close date from Monday April 2nd to Friday March 30th at Noon, indicative of a material event, according to documents obtained by PrivCo related to the current Facebook shares auction. Shares trading will then be suspended, at a minimum pending the road show broadcast.
Roadshow Video Recorded
PrivCo has confirmed that Facebook ‘s Mark Zuckerburg, Sheryl Sandberg and CFO David Ebersman have recorded their Facebook road show video which will be posted as early as next Friday or the following Monday. The video reportedly primarily features Sandberg and Ebersman with a brief role by Mark Zuckerberg. (The video recording could still be a dress rehearsal for the final video.)
