Ruckus Wireless is a privately-held Wi-Fi networking systems provider. Ruckus's system extends the range of Wi-Fi signals and allows automatic adjusting to environmental changes. Ruckus primarily focuses on enterprise solutions and deal with large corporations for sales.
Ruckus Wireless sells its products to two major groups: service providers (such as AT&T and T-Mobile) and enterprises. To service providers, it sells products that help them cope with the rapidly increasing traffic for high-bandwidth information. To enterprises such as hotels, universities, and hospitals, it sells devices that allow them to grant Wi-Fi access across their institution.
