Privately-held and family-owned Rich Products Corporation is one of the leading suppliers and solutions providers to the food industry in general and the frozen food industry in particular. Founded in 1945, the company serves the requirements of the foodservice segment, in-store bakeries, and retail marketplaces spread across the Unites States and other countries. The innovation of the first non-dairy whips topping is accredited to the company’s founder, Robert Rich Sr., who invented it in 1945.The Buffalo, New York-based company offers 2,000 products in 73 countries with a workforce of approximately 7,200 associates worldwide. Rich Products reported annual sales of $2.8 billion for 2009 and has manufacturing facilities, research and development centers, and sales offices in the US and overseas.
