Quora is a privately-held company that hosts a growing collection of questions and answers that are continuously created, edited, and organized by its employees and users. In January 2010, Adam D'Angelo quit his position at Facebook to found Quora with Charlie Cheever, also a former Facebook employee. D'Angelo remarked that he was inspired to found Quora because of his belief "that Q&A is one of those areas on the internet where there are a lot of sites, but no one had come along and built something that was really good yet."
