History:
Novolyte Technologies was formed when Arsenal acquired the Fine Chemicals from Ferro Corp. in the fourth quarter of 2008. Fine Chemicals was previously an operation division of Ferro Corp., listed under its “Other Businesses” reportable segment in conjunction with its Pharmaceuticals division. As such, financials for the two divisions can be found in Ferro Corp’s 10-Q and 10-K filings under “Other Businesses” up to the fourth quarter of 2008.
August 2009: Novolyte Receives Stimulus Funds from U.S. Department of Energy
Novolyte received $20,618,047 in stimulus funding from the U.S. Department of Energy to expand its North American electrolytes plant in Baton Rouge, LA. The project is to be completed in two phases and is scheduled to start April 30, 2010 and to be completed on April 29, 2015.
