New Era Cap Company is a private company based in Buffalo, New York that is the largest maker of caps in the United States. New Era Cap Company also produces official licensed atheletic apparel such as sweatshirts and hoodies, including holding the official Major League Baseball license for all of its teams as well as for the National Hockey League (NHL), National Basketball Association (NBA) and National Football League (NFL) and other sports leagues. Founded in 1920, New Era Cap Company has expanded aggressively overseas, and New Era Cap's revenues have grown rapidly in the past decade. Christopher H. In 2011, New Era Cap Company was the subject of an episode of The Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump, in which the celebrity contenstants competed to design the top-selling New Era baseball cap designs to raise money for their charities, much of which was donated by New Era Cap Company..
