King Arthur Flour Co. is a privately-held supplier of baking flour. Founded in 1790 as Sands, Taylor & Wood Company, King Arthur Flour is headquartered in the U.S. Norwich, Vermont. Sands, Taylor & Wood Company converted to an employee-owned structure in 1996, and also changed its name to The King Arthur Flour Co., Inc., after its flagship brand of baking flour. In addition to its flour business, in which King Arthur Flour revenues are derived from wholesale sales of its flour products to grocers and other food retailers, King Arthur Flour Co. also sells baking equipment and other baking ingredients through its catalog, The Baker's Catalogue. King Arthur Flour , and at its flagship store, The Baker's Store, located in Norwich, Vermont.
