Internet Business Technologies is the developer of Realtime, a web development framework for creating live websites and web applications. As of August 2012, the Realtime framework is in beta with over 1,000 developers registered and over 1.2 million users every 24 hours. Founded in 1997, Internet Business Technologies's mission is to change the "request, response" structure of Internet protocol and bring about the real-time web. The company is primarily based outside the US with offices in Brazil, China, and Portugal. Some of its bigger customers include Sephora and the Bank of Brazil. Although South America, Brazil especially, is a growing market for the firm, Internet Business Technologies hopes to further grow the Realtime framework through expansion into the United States.
