Hibernia Atlantic, Inc. is a privately-held company that provides transatlantic, high bandwidth, connectivity to customers in the United States and in Europe. The undersea cable infrastructure that Hibernia Atlantic builds provides up to 100 gigabytes per second over 5,570 kilometers of sea (refer to the "Detailed Business Description" section for more information). In 2003, Hibernia Atlantic was formed by Columbia Ventures Corporation, a private investment company focused principally on the international telecommunications industry. Hibernia Atlantic is headquartered in Summit, New Jersey.
In January, 2013, Hibernia Atlantic, Inc. changed its name to Hibernia Networks.

October 8, 2007 - Hibernia Metro Adds Two New Points of Presence
Hibernia Metro, a subsidiary of Hibernia Atlantic that was created in December 2006, has added two new Points of Presence for its customers in and around New York City. The two new Points of Presence are located in Weehawken, New Jersey and Manhattan. This network expansion will strengthen Hibernia's communications providing services since it allows more customers to access its network. With an increase in the customer base, Hibernia's revenues will increase.
October 25, 2007 - Hibernia Atlantic Offers 40 GBPS between the United States and Canada
Hibernia Atlantic has made a 40 Gbps capacity available that connects customers in Canada with the United States. Hibernia Atlantic already has contracts that plan to commence in 2008.
