Overview

Harvey Nichols began in 1813 when Benjamin Harvey established a small linen shop in Central London. The company became a subsidiary of Burton Group in 1985, and then became a subsidiary of Dickson Concepts. Harvey Nichols began trading publicly in 1996 on the London Stock Exchange. In 2003, the Dickson Group acquired the remaining interest in Harvey Nichols and took the company private. As of February 2012, Harvey Nichols has 7 stores located within the UK and 6 stores located in Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Indonesia.
