Operating in the Highland Park district of Los Angeles, Forever 21, Inc. first rooted itself in the fashion industry in 1984 as a small store named Fashion 21. While Forever 21's original target market was the Los Angeles Korean-American community, people from many other ethnicities and nationalities began noticing the trend-setting fashion designs. As an effect, the store became increasingly popular. As sales grew and the clientele expanded, founders Do Won Chang and Jin Sook Chang eventually expanded operations, and later changed the company name from Fashion 21 to Forever 21.
Revenue Model
Forever 21 generates the majority of its revenue through online purchases and in-store sales. Its products include clothing, cosmetics, shoes, and swimwear.
