Business Overview

Evernote is a software development company that focuses on creating personal organization-related mobile applications. The company’s goal is to "help the world remember everything, communicate effectively, and get things done." Examples of Evernote’s consumer-friendly applications range from Evernote Food for taking photos of meals to Evernote Peek for helping students prepare for quizzes and tests.

The Evernote application bundle is the fourth-best selling iPad app in the United States, falling behind two versions of Rovio's Angry Birds and Apple's Pages app. CEO Phil Libin's long-term outlook is uncommon compared to other startups, but that has also given the company the mindset of creating better products instead of churning out mediocre applications.
