Dasient, Inc.

Founded in 2008, Dasient, Inc. is a privately-held Internet security company that protects websites from viruses, spyware, and other similar external attacks (known as "malware") through its flagship Anti-Malware services that seek out malware infections. Like other web or network security software, Dasient's products alert clients of the attack and any successful intrusion or infection and isolate the attack from the rest of the client's website or computer networks. Dasient's founders are Neil Daswani, Ameet Ranadive, and Shariq Rizvi. Dasient, Inc. is backed by an array of prominent venture capital investors, including Benhamou Global Ventures, Floodgate (formerly Maple Ventures), Radar Partners, former Verisign, Inc. CEO Scratton Sclavos, and most prominently, Google Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Internet search giant Google, Inc.
