Chobani is a privately-held company that produces and sells Greek-style yogurt in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Chobani Yogurt is produced primarily at Agro Farma's South Edmeston, New York and its New Berlin, New York manufacturing facilities. The Shepherd's Gift Foundation, Chobani’s charitable arm, gives 10% of Chobani profits annually to a variety of causes. The Foundation donates 100% of revenue from bottled water sold at its Soho store. Especially its early years, Chobani has marketed itself aggressively through social media and customer interaction, with a relative dearth of traditional media marketing.
