Calxeda Business Overview

Calxeda Inc., is a start-up that provides chips for a new line of server systems using semiconductor architecture designs licenced by ARM Holdings PLC that consume much less power than most chips found in current servers. Machines based on such chips, called "micro servers," are expected to attract attention from companies that are building massive data centers for relatively simple tasks—like serving up Web pages to millions of users—and want to save on space and electricity.
