Boston Market Corporation is a privately held fast-casual restaurant and formerly known as Boston Chicken, Inc. It owns and operates more than 500 restaurants and retail food service stores under the Boston Market brand. Boston Market Corporation specializes in fresh and home style entrees of turkey, chicken, ham and meat loaf as well as sandwiches and a variety of freshly prepared salads and other side dishes such as macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and stuffing. In addition to its restaurants, Boston Market Corporation sells retail frozen food items and additional products through a licensing deal with H. J. Heinz. Boston Market Corporation is owned by Sun Capital Partners, an investment firm that took the company private in August 2007. Founded in 1985, Boston Market Corporation is headquartered in Golden, Colorado.
