Blue Jeans Network (BJN) generates the majority of its revenue on a subscription basis. The subscription allows the customer access to Blue Jeans Network's cloud-based service. The service allows users who use different types of videoconference technology to interact with each other. BJN charges clients a monthly fee according to the number of minutes they use and the number of devices enabled at the client's site.
BJN is also trying to make a move into the MCU market or multipoint control units. The company believes its current service can eventually become an alternative to and replace MCUs.
