Bandspeed is venture-backed company founded in 1998. Founded and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Bandspeed is a fables semiconductor company. The company specializes in wireless networking, WiFi management, signal processing, and integrated circuits. Bandspeed spent years in development and signed its first trial partner in 2003. The company focused on manufacturing chips for Bluetooth and digital subscriber line service for broadband access and struggled early on. In 2002, with the implementation of a new CEO, Bandspeed shifted its focus to chips for wireless access points and WiFi. From then on, Business picked up and the company started to receive consistent funding and new customers.
