Audyssey Laboratories' business model creates revenue streams from 3 different divisions:
Audyssey's primary business is a licensing model of its corrective audio technologies. Manufacturers pay on a quarterly basis to license Audyssey's software products for the freedom to create and implement this software into their product lines. Audyssey benefits from no cost of goods sold with this model as the Company's clients are manufacturing the audio equipment which utilizes Audyssey's software and technology.
The second revenue stream of the Audyssey model comes from the Audyssey Installer Program. Audyssey's registered technicians pay the Company for a license which gives installation rights of Audyssey products. By purchasing the license, Audyssey provides the technician with installation kits, software, training, support, and marketing materials for his or her offerings of Audyssey technology.
