Animoto is an online and mobile video creation service that makes its easy for individuals to create and share pictures, video clips, and music. Animoto's users simply upload their pictures and video clips, choose a style, add words and music and clock the "produce video" button. Animoto 's cinematic technology does all the work and within minutes, a video production is formed and ready to be shared with others. Animoto is used mainly by individuals in the US, but also boasts users from more than 200 countries around the world.
Creating a 30-second video on Animoto is free, but anything longer than that costs $2.50 and annual subscription fees range from $30 to $499. Teachers, nonprofits, and charities, however, are given free access. Users create videos for a variety of events and occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, and trips.
