AKSA Power Generation is a privately-held generating set manufacturer. The private generator manufacturer derives revenues through sales of generator sets powered by natural gas, gasoline, diesel, and water. AKSA was established in 1968 as an electrical motor factory; the company sold its first power generator in 1984. Today, AKSA Power Generations is one of the top 100 industrial businesses in Turkey. The company exports more than 50% of its product. In 2009, Aksa Power Generation led Turkey with a 43% market share in power generation and a 53% share in the country's exports. Founded by Ali Metin Kazanci in 1968, Aksa Power Generation is headquartered in Instanbul, Turkey.
