Kohler Co. Acquires SDMO Industries, SAS

Established in 1966, SDMO Industries, SAS is a privately-held manufacturer of industrial generating sets. SDMO Industries was created by the Meunier Group and managed by Guy Coisnon, and was originally a manufacturing company that produced marine engines. Today, SDMO Industries is the largest manufacturing company of generating sets in Europe and the third largest worldwide. SDMO is headquartered in Brest, France and hold offices in Argentina, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States.

Kohler Company is a manufacturer of sustainable kitchen and bath products, furniture under the brand names Baker and McGuire, lawn tractor engines, generators for marine vehicles and homes, and power systems. Kohler was founded in 1873 and is based in Kohler, Wisconsin with an additional office in Australia. The Kohler Company through its international subsidaries manages hotels and golf courses in the United States. The Kohler Company offers bathroom fixtures, furniture, tiles and stones, industrial and ornamental iron castings, and primary and backup power systems.
